From Languedoc to Al-Andalus

 Ron and Janice Cook, founding members of The Early Interval, will present a virtual concert entitled “From Languedoc to Al-Andalus.” The program will feature music performed on harps, recorder, nakers, treble and bass rebecs, vielle, and alto voice. The concert will include music of the troubadours, a narrative lai written by Marie de France in the 12th century, and music from both the Arabic and Christian cultures in medieval Spain.
